Teaching a teenager to drive ...

Not easy. Not fun. Not easy on the ol' ticker.

What can I say? I have a great teenager who I trust completely and am totally proud of, but I shudder when I think of my baby getting behind the wheel of a motorized vehicle.

In yesterday's two hour driving lesson we were nearly home when the biggest most grand buck came running up from the passenger side of the car. Miss Morgan now fully understands where the phrase 'deer in the headlights' came from. Bless her heart ... she had her first rush of serious adrenaline while driving and she managed quite nicely.

Now if we can get her to turn the car and stay in her own lane .......
